  We recently worked with Sage and Stone Projects to design and renovate our 30‑year‑old townhouse, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. Our property was gutted and remodelled, including the removal of a major wall to open up the kitchen and dining area — a transformation we had a clear vision for, and the result was a beautiful open space. Joe and Claire guided us through every step of the design process with patience, creativity, and a clear eye for detail. Their communication was consistent, their workmanship outstanding, and their ability to bring our ideas to life exceeded all expectations. The finished result feels modern, spacious, and perfectly suited to the way we live. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and professionalism Sage and Stone Projects brought to our renovation.   We highly recommend Joe and his team at MAVA Building for the renovations completed at our home. We recently bought a late 1940s house that was in real need of updating whilst retaining the character of the house. We needed to remove the wall between the dining / kitchen to open up the space, undertake patching to the hardwood flooring, move doors, patch walls, create and frame built-in wardrobes for two of the bedrooms and install an attic ladder to the roof. We were very lucky to have George and Charlie as our carpenters on site and Joe organised engineering inspection, electricians (Lewis at Engage Air & Electrical), plumber (Matt at MAD Plumbing) and plasterer. Work was carried out in a professional manner with a quality result. If you are looking for renovating in the Hunter area at least speak to MAVA Building and get a quote. You won't be disappointed.

They were always prompt in getting back to us, and even though it wasn’t a massive project, they genuinely took care of us every step of the way.   When we bought our Eleebana treehouse we knew it needed some love- and in came Mava! They started with replacing the front decking and balustrades, removing the old rotten timber. We went with composite planks, black posts and wire, with merbau top rails. It looks absolutely gorgeous and is exactly like my inspiration photo and what I described. Next up was the bathroom remodel which was a complete internal renovation. All walls were removed and the layout was completely redesigned. I had a very specific style and layout in mind and Mava worked with my plans to make my dream come to life! As this is a unique older house, it wasn't the most straight forward renovation. Joe, Claire and the Mava team always kept us up to date and communication was clear. We knew there would be a few bumps in the road when it came to our houses quirks and these were all handled excellently. The trades Mava uses are also amazing. Through out the process we have not only acquired Mava as a builder but a whole bunch of other trades we will be stoked to use again. Overall Mava are an incredibly trustwothy, transparent and talented team! They are a joy to have around and I would definitely recommend them to help achieve your renovation goals.
