McDowell Homes

McDowell Homes built me a beautiful home in Tareebin Road, Nelson Bay in 2012. I had another home built by them in 2022. I had to sell it, as I moved into a townhouse. Good people at McDowell, I can recommend them completely.

What a great builder to have used to build our duplex, could not have asked for a better builder, great quality of work and care to detail with great communication throughout the build, highly recommended and will defiantly be using them again Regards Charlie

Just wanted to shout out to McDowell Homes and congratulate them on 30years of service to the Port Stephans communities. Trent and Emma build our new house in Boat Harbor, 2 years ago and we love it. Due to turbulent weather at the time, it took a little longer than expected (at no fault of the builder) but to his credit, Trent made sure we were given regular updates on progress (and weather reports). Building a house is stressful enough but we always felt confident we were moving in the right direction. It helps when the builder takes the time to discuss process and options before they start the build, Trent always made sure he was available for our questions regardless how mundane they might have been. We looked at several builders in the area before deciding to go with McDowell Home, they weren't the cheapest! We choose McDowell for their long-standing experience in the area. Another shout out to Trent is that once we took possession of the property, he said there will always be little thing that need to be addressed. All we had to do is write it down and he will get it fixed up. I was worried about this as I heard once a builder gets his money they just move on to the next build and forget about that promise. Well McDowell home made sure that all issues we had were rectified in a timely manner.

We did a knock down rebuild with McDowell Homes and the process was so easy. Our new home was delivered on time and on budget, and was high quality construction. Any follow up required has been flawless and we love our new home.

We just love our house. Trent’s patience, knowledge and input into the design proved invaluable. This ensured the smoothest build we could have imagined. Every day we are so grateful to have chosen McDowell Homes to build our dream home. We are never leaving here. Tony and Lisa

Couldn’t be happier. I’d been told building was a hassle, but that wasn’t our experience at all. The process was extremely clear all the way through. Selections and decisions were painless, and there were plenty of helpful suggestions along the way. Building quality is excellent, and came in on time and on budget. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again.
