Lime Building Group

It's now six months since we moved into our home and we are still in awe. It’s stunning and so functional, so easy to live in. From the moment we met Joel and started to work closely with Tim, we knew we’d found the builders of our forever home, but this farm restoration project was so much more! They shared our vision and passion, but provided practical challenge and advice, and brought a team of incredible professionals, suppliers and trades who all love working with the Lime crew. We understand why. They were just so fantastic to work with, to have on site, responsive when off site and even our non-building, but farm related, challenges were met with a smile and offers of assistance. Not only did they build our dream home, but they built a 2-bedroom house within the old stables and created the heart of the farm…a beautiful space under the one hundred and fifty year-old twin figs and the venue for our daughter’s wedding venue. They re-purposed an old equestrian arena into a huge enclosed shed and a farm equipment shed, helped move stock sheds to enhance views from the house, created incredible rock walls for our garden, organised the build of water tanks (and more water tanks), sorted new electrical lines to our property and so many more mini projects along the way! Jack, Renee and Jacob ably supported Joel and Tim and made sure things ran smoothly behind the scenes. They have an incredible attention to detail, solution to any problem, are tenacious in following up and a pleasure to be around. A huge thank you Joel, Tim and the whole Lime crew. What a team!

We appointed Lime Building to carry out extensive internal renovations, including adding a powder room and doing a full kitchen remodel in our period property. They also converted a backyard shed into a pretty studio to provide extra working from home space. Work on the property began while we were stuck overseas due to border closures during the pandemic, however, Will (our builder) kept us up to date with everything going on, allowing me to completely trust him and his team to carry out everything without us there initially. Will and his team were hard working, very professional and completed the renovations to a high standard within really tight timelines, despite supply issues that were faced due to COVID19 restrictions. We are so delighted with the end result and will definitely be using Lime Building again for future renovations.

Lime did our major renovation and we could not be happier with the whole experience. Right from before plans were even submitted they gave us invaluable advice and recommendations. Throughout the build their communication was outstanding, and they were so helpful with advice and recommendations every step of the way. Tim and the whole team really treated the project like it was their own home. On top of all that, the project was completed a week early. Highly recommended!

From start to finish we could not be happier with the service we received from those connected with Lime Building Group. Co owner, Will Jacobs and Project Coordinator, Jack Hall, were both fantastic. Their communication, patience, advice and attention to detail were amazing. They provided solutions when problems arose, were respectful of our budget, and made helpful suggestions when they could foresee a difficulty. They always responded quickly to contact and attempted to reduce the stress of the building process as much as possible. We were very impressed by all members of the team at Lime and those contracted to or suggested by them. We are very happy with the excellent standard of the build, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Our architect, Alex recommended that we speak to Lime when we embarked on a major renovation in Kiama and from our first meeting we were struck with how differently Joel and the team approach things. Their professionalism, attention to detail and communication (we loved the daily progress updates with photos on Buildertrend) were outstanding and It was an absolute pleasure working with them. Tim and Daniel somehow managed to know what I was thinking half the time and were coming up with solutions to my questions before I'd even asked them. We wanted to try and build a high performing/passive home and Lime were eager to help us out with the various sealed membranes, extensive insulation and thermal breaks that that entails. By cleverly working around the weather (it rained... a lot) they managed to complete the main building works in only seven months. We now have a stunning home and are already planning to work with Lime on a phase two in the future. I absolutely recommend them.
