I recently completed a full renovation of my home in Malua Bay with Lindsay King Gee from King Gee Constructions, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This home has been in our family for decades and holds enormous sentimental value, so it was incredibly important to me that the renovation honoured this, while also setting it up to remain a valuable asset for the next generation — my children. From our very first consultation, Lindsay understood that balance. He brought both vision and practicality, helping me reimagine how the home could be modernised and given a completely new life while still respecting what it meant to our family. He managed every stage seamlessly — from scoping, demolition, and sourcing through to design and full construction — delivering an end result that far exceeded my expectations. Transforming a little holiday house into a breathtaking modern home. The scope of work included brand new flooring, a completely new kitchen and bathroom, full internal and external painting, and landscaping clean-up. Lindsay also went above and beyond with thoughtful finishing touches such as beautiful modern lighting and curtains, which truly completed the space. He stayed within the budget he quoted and always tried to find solutions when challenges came up – as they inevitably do in a 50 year old house. What makes this project even more remarkable is that Lindsay delivered all of this while I was based overseas in Singapore. Managing a renovation remotely was my nightmare, but with Lindsay in charge, it was fun and rewarding. His communication was excellent, he led a fantastic team of trades, and he earned my complete trust very quickly. I will always be grateful to him. I’m absolutely thrilled with the result and cannot recommend Lindsay highly enough. He’s an absolute star, and I would work with him again on any future projects without hesitation.

King-Gee Construction was outstanding. Over many years we have undertaken numerous renovation projects on various properties and our experience on this project was first-class. We live remotely from the property that was being updated and the Principal, Lindsay was completely reliable, trustworthy and professional. The project was delivered on time, on budget and the quality of the work was outstanding. Lindsay is also a fabulous communicator. He kept us up to date on the progress of the project and was always responsive and accessible. He also provided us with helpful advice as the project progressed and we really enjoyed working with him. He went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

King-Gee Construction recently undertook a major renovation of our old brick house, converting it from 2 units into a single 4 bedroom family home in Broulee. To say we are thrilled is an understatement, and we cannot recommend Lindsay and his crew highly enough. Lindsay is easy to deal with, his team are professional and courteous at all times, and they did a fabulous job on my house. Lindsay was always open to hearing me out on changes, recommending improvements and adapting on the fly. We will be doing more with Lindsay in the future.
