Height Safety Engineers

I recently did a working at heights safely course to refresh my ticket. I had Pete as the instructor and he did a fantastic job. He has loads of experience which helps with the training. The course is worth doing, I previously did it with Pinnacle and I can honestly say HSE was 10 times better! I would recommend them to anyone considering this course.

My company enrolled me on a multiple courses for upcoming work, including breathing apparatus, confined space, confined space rescue, working at heights and rescue. We had such an amazing time throughout the week. The HSE teams hospitality and generosity during the courses was amazing, there was coffee and biscuits, lollies and even unlimited pancakes. Not only this but our trainer Warren was such a great teacher, he had a real penchant for teaching and made the courses so enjoyable with his real world experience and fantastic way of delivering the information. As someone with a crippling fear of heights normally i had no dramas working and rescuing at heights under his instruction and my faith in the equipment had me abseiling down the highest points and itching to go again with a smile instead instead. It definitely helped me overcome my fear and i look forward to doing courses there in the future, if not just for the pancake machine!

Just want to start off by thanking Kevin for the awesome experience training us on how to use a forklift, Ben the assessor was professional and understanding as it was nerve racking when being assessed on a forklift but he made sure to take his time, overall I could not recommend HSE for a better experience.

Overall the heights training was great. Some of the harnesses were difficult to use/adjust. Exam questions were not all relevant to what was taught in the class or written in the book. But still, the course is worth doing.
