If you’re looking for a builder don't look any further - Adrian and his team are fantastic. Initially we were a little hesitant as we couldn't find any reviews online for Cortis Renos but after meeting him at our initial quote we felt confident to proceed - so glad we did! Adrian and his team go above and beyond to deliver quality work at reasonable pricing. Our lovely daughter was a little excited about our extension, so much so that she ran over/jumped on the freshly laid tiles in the laundry; to which the tiler fixed up without any complaint – sorry. The overall finish of the job was great and Adrian is super organised. We will continue to use Adrian for renovations after being so impressed with our recent home extension. Thank you

I was recommended Cortis Renovations to do my bathroom by our electrician who knew Adrian personally. The whole team did an excellent job and nothing was too hard for them. All the tradies were really lovely guys. Adrian is a lovely young man with a ready smile and not averse to a bit of a joke and Natalie helped to pass on any messages that needed to get to Adrian. They listened to my needs and Adrian even came out with me to the bathroom and tile retail stores to advise me and help me pick out the items and tiles needed to do the job so it would look at it's maximum best. It looks fantastic now and I hate to use it because it looks so clean and modern, unlike my old dated bathroom. Even the dust and dirt was kept to a minimum which was really good as any excess dirt and dust would be bad for me as I have breathing problems. The quote was below the price I would have expected and the shower screen and mirror was included in the price. They made sure that everything fitted nicely and Adrian came back at the end of the job to make sure it was all to his satisfaction. This is long winded and very wordy but I wanted to make sure everyone knew how good Cortis Renovations are. I would definitely highly recommend Adrian and his team to do your next bathroom.

Frequently asked questions

How much do builders typically charge?
Builder costs vary widely depending on the job type and complexity. Minor repairs are generally much less than extensions, small builds or structural alterations that need foundations, framing or specialist input. Most quotes include a call‑out fee plus labour and materials, and the page shows live pricing to help you compare options.
Do builders charge call-out fees?
Call‑out fees are common and typically cover travel and an initial inspection or assessment. This fee is usually separate from hourly labour and materials, and after‑hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates. Ask whether a call‑out or minimum charge applies when requesting quotes.
Do builders need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Building work generally needs to be carried out by a licensed builder in every state and territory, and NSW builders are regulated by NSW Fair Trading. Builders should be able to provide their state builder/contractor licence number and show appropriate insurances and ABN/GST registration. In Victoria, domestic building insurance is required above a state threshold for certain contracts.
How do I get a quote from Cortis Renovations?
