Campsmart

High quality product. Very well made. I particularly ordered from Campsmart as the step shown was raw aluminium, not painted/powder coated. However the one that turned up was painted. I do think there was something about painted aluminium in the product description but I expected to get what was shown in the photos. However I am very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend Campsmart to anyone.

We have had our caravan since 2002. We bought it new from Coromal and although we used it quite a lot when we bought it for many years it was outside in the weather. After a major rejuvenation1 in 2021 we have been using it more frequently since then. The TV reception which was good initially (Wineguard Analogue) is now pathetic since most TV signals are digital. Whilst away recently we could only get ch 9 intermittantly - extremely frustrating. I got onto Ebay and found your digital antennae head for the Wineguard mechanism. I purchased one and it beat me home. After arriving and unpacking the van, I decided to install the new digital antenna head before putting the van away in its undercover storage. "Five minutes required with no special tools" the advertising displayed" and to be fair once I read the information supporting the new digital head and got the old one off, if it was on a bench that would be all it would take. However you need an exceptional ladder or scaffold system to be able to get to the antenna safely and without damaging the roof of the van and then need to take the head off that had rusted pins that must be removed before you can lift the old head off. So, 4 hours and 5 minutes later I had achieved the installation. This is no easy Saturday morning fix. I am very well resourced as far as ladders and scaffold are concerned and I rate the whole operation as difficult. However I rate the whole project as a magnificent improvement. I aimed the antenna roughly towards where all our local transmitters are and "right off the bat" I got every TV station that we can get off the House installation all in beautiful clarity and stunning colour.
