Outstanding service quality, the technicians are experts who are so well trained and experienced that they came equipped with the parts needed to complete the job based on the scant job notes they had, so that only one call was required to resolve my issue and no second visit after waiting for parts to arrive etc. Well done guys, would recommend you to anyone.

Couldn't rate Robert from master tech higher. Kind ,genuine and incredibly knowledgeable. Based off hearing just the symptoms he knew what parts to bring and had the job done within a matter of minutes. And while talking to him could tell he genuinely care about the customer and aven fixed another problem we had with our gas cook top that multiple other tradesmen couldn't figure out 10/10

The service was brilliant and I can't recommend this company enough. The Oven Repair Man tech told me he could not access a faulty ignition point on my Miele glass cooktop. He claimed that it would result in the glass being broken. He advised me to buy a new cooktop ($3700) and replace the "faulty one". They even offered to do the replacement job for $760. Roberto from Master Tech took about 25 minutes to lift the cooktop and replace the faulty part. Honest, brilliant and professional. And not expensive.

Frequently asked questions

How much do appliance specialists typically charge?
Costs for appliance specialists vary widely depending on the appliance type and job complexity. Simple plug-in installs or basic diagnostics are generally less than repairs that involve electrical or refrigerant work, which often require registered technicians. Most quotes combine a call-out fee, labour time and parts, with after-hours work usually costing more. This page shows live pricing for your area to help compare estimates.
Do appliance specialists charge call-out fees?
Yes — call-out fees are common to cover attendance and the on-site diagnosis. The call-out is usually separate from hourly labour and parts costs, and providers often apply higher rates for after-hours or emergency visits. It's worth confirming whether the quoted price includes the call-out fee and any minimum charge.
When do appliance specialists need a licence?
When electrical wiring, fixed appliance connections or refrigerant handling is involved, appliance specialists usually need to be registered or hold a relevant licence in the applicable state. Refrigerant work typically requires an ARC Tick or equivalent refrigerant licence, and electrical scope should be covered by a valid state electrical/appliance licence number. Registration rules vary by state and territory, so it's sensible to check credentials and that the provider can show their licence on quotes or invoices when regulated work is required.
