I bought my home with Warmup already installed. Large tiled living areas and 3 bathrooms. I did not think I would use it - silly me. Underfloor heating is fantastic in Winter; reduce need for the RC air con and delivers a more even heat that rises from (obviously) the floor. When we turn it off (or timer places it in overnight mode), the floor retains warmth for several hours. We recently needed to replace the wall controllers and Shane was very helpful. I had contacted him in September to advise the issues Id experienced and eventually I decided to replace them all but waited till Autumn to do so. Shane remembered our conversation, provided the quote and installed them pronto. The new control units are not particularly attractive but they are small and are a flusher fit to the wall.

Shane at Warmup was a delight to deal with. From the first contact, providing thorough and easy to understand information, to providing prompt quotes, turning up on time and explaining things in a happy and positive way, to then installing the system. Such an easy process - I wish more companies were this easy to deal with. The underfloor heating is the BEST.THING.EVER. Hands down 🙌 It makes the room warm because hot air rises! So the air is ambient, the floor is so cosy to walk on, you can even lay your clothes on the floor and they'll heat up. I bought the digital controller so you can set the heating at different frequencies and temperatures. I set it to 22 degrees, so once heated up, it generally stays at that temperature so it doesn't use much power to heat back up to that set temp. I bought under screed heating and it works easily. I absolutely love the underfloor. Every house that's located in areas with temperatures less than 10 degrees should have it. Heated lights and heated flooring is much more cost efficient than using ducted AC. Warmup have certainly warmed up my home 🏡🎯💯🙌

Good workmanship at affordable rates. One of the best underfloor heating and waterproof companies in Australia. I will definitely recommend.

Frequently asked questions

Do tilers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common to cover attendance and the initial assessment. This fee is usually separate from labour and materials, and small repairs may still attract it. After-hours or emergency visits are often charged at a higher rate, so confirm call-out and availability terms when requesting quotes.
Do tilers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Tiling work generally requires a licensed tradesperson in all Australian states and territories, and in NSW licences are administered by NSW Fair Trading. Ask to see a valid state tiling or building licence number on quotes or invoices, and look for industry credentials such as Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, a White Card, public liability insurance and an ABN with active GST registration.
