TCK Solar

We got TCK Solar to install a 6kw system. They certainly know their solar products - panels, inverter etc such that we are confident we have got the best quality products for our money. They also listened to our particular needs for panel placement and need for care on the roof of our unusual design of house. The installation was done smoothly and carefully by skilled tradies. Unknown to us was that TCK can do aircon too! We needed ours replacing so got that done around the same time. Though they might have initially ‘over promised’ with the split system unit chosen, when it became apparent this wasn’t possible, TCK went out of their way to find a suitable (and likely only) alternative solution. The aircon is particularly welcome in summers heat after struggling for 2 summers without!! Heating works great too. We’re not done yet with TCK as we’re contemplating a battery from them and look forward to getting that done. I have no hesitation in recommending TCK for your solar/aircon/battery needs.

TCK Solar are outstanding. I had previously used two national solar companies at another property, but my current townhouse roof is extremely challenging, with 11 changes in direction. Other installers told me I could fit a maximum of six panels. While searching for a premium Tesla installer in Melbourne, I came across TCK Solar on the Tesla website. They were listed as a premium installer, and Ian contacted me promptly after my enquiry. Simon then came out with a tape measure, carefully assessed the roof, and managed to design a system with 15 panels. During installation, they also repaired some broken roof tiles. The whole process was seamless. The team was very knowledgeable, and together we worked out the right solution to suit both my current power usage and future needs. The cabling and installation were exceptionally neat, including my EV charger, which disappears cleanly into the wall. If you’re looking for a clean installation or need experts for a challenging site, you won’t find a better team than TCK Solar.

I had Sanden hot water heat pump installed by TCK Solar in May 2024 (that's almost 1.5 years ago). I've had zero problems so far, and I never had to contact TCK Solar post installation. For a small fee, they also agreed to remove a solar panel for my legacy hot water system. Mind you, this was a 2 storey roof. Other installers (from another company) didn't want to the job unless I also get them to install a solar system, which I had no plans to at the time. I'm very happy with the Sanden system. Using the Tuya Smartlife app, I'm able to set rules for when the heater should come on and off, and override the default settings. For example: - if tank temp < 50C, then turn on heat. - if tank temp > 60C, then turn on energy saving mode. We are absolutely thrilled with our new solar system and Tesla Powerwall 3 from TCK Solar. The entire process, from our first contact with Ian and Sarah to the detailed site visit with Timo, was seamless and professional. Every step of the way, we felt we were in expert hands, but the installation team truly took it to the next level. Our house has a difficult roof, which was a major concern for us. However, the installation team (Simon, Darcy, Keanu, Jason, and Shane) handled it with incredible skill and confidence. It was immediately obvious that they are masters of their craft. They worked together brilliantly as a team, were punctual, polite, and exceptionally tidy throughout the entire installation of our panels, the Powerwall 3, and the expansion unit.
