We engaged Dave and his team for our solar installation works. From the initial contact all the way to completion, Dave kept us informed of progress and always explained the process. They were mindful of our home orientation and made sure the panels were installed as inconspicuous as possible so as to not affect our street character. The process was seamless. I would have no hesitation recommending David and his team for any solar installation.

I recently installed a solar system using Clean Energy 365. The entire process was seemless. This technology was completely new to me. David Allen of Clean Energy 365 gave me guidance and support, explaining the system clearly and simply. This gave me confidence to proceed. Max and his team of installers were prompt, friendly and efficient. I am happy with the job and look forward to a reduction in my energy bills. I have no hesitation in recommending Clean Energy 365.

Wow. I own a cafe in Greensborough that trades from 7am until midnight and Ausnet were cutting our power last Tuesday 02.07.2019. I had no idea what to do. On a referral from a friend I called Allen Electrical and spoke to David who not only knew what needed to be done but also organised the whole process for me. On Tuesday morning, David and his team showed up at 5.30am, wired up what they had to and connected it all to a generator that had us up and running by 6.45am. How can I thank you guys? Without your service and advice we could have lost over $10,000 worth of stock and trade. Thanks so much David and Team. Emmanuel Tsesmelis Owner Urban Grooves Greensborough

Solar costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do solar installers typically charge?
Solar costs vary widely depending on system size, equipment choices, roof access and whether additional electrical upgrades or battery work are required. Simple panel adds or routine maintenance are typically much less involved than full system installs or battery integrations. This page shows live pricing to help compare current rates alongside the specific scope of your job.
Do solar installers charge call-out fees?
Yes — call-out fees are common for solar installers and are often charged to cover attendance and an initial assessment. Call-outs are usually separate from hourly labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency visits typically attract higher rates. Confirm whether a call-out fee is included or listed separately when comparing quotes.
Do solar installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Solar installation work is required to be carried out by a licensed installer in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW installers are licensed through NSW Fair Trading. Many installers also hold industry credentials such as Clean Energy Council accreditation and may display a valid state electrical contractor licence on quotes, as well as public liability insurance. These credentials can help indicate the installer has relevant training and compliance practices.
Does Clean Energy 365 have a verified ABN?
Yes. Clean Energy 365 has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
