Solargain

We recently had our solar panels upgraded and a battery installed by Solargain Ashmore. We are very happy with the service and installation. Ben was very patient as I grappled to learn and understand the whole solar battery system and set-up, and was happy to answer all my dumb questions. The installation proceeded ahead of schedule, and the installers were great. Only had the system for a couple of weeks, but so far so good. I would highly recommend Ben and his team from Solargain Ashmore.

Great communication and service by Ben who had our existing rooftop Solar Hot Water system replaced by a Solar Gain product at a reasonable price. A mention must also be made to the installers Kade and Isaak who carried out the installation in a timely and professional manner. I was most impressed with the Mighty Lift System to raise and lower the heavy components from ground level to the rooftop safely without property damage. I was pleased with the resulting hot water supply which had smooth flow and did not scald.

Ben from Solargain, was so informative from start to finish. The installers were a amazing, nothing was too much for them. Service above and beyond. Highly recommend. Only just installed. Looking forward to bringing my electricity accounts down. The app is great for checking what the panels are generating.

Update to this previous post - have now installed a BYD 19.4 Kwh battery. Again Ben provided sound advice, the installation was straight forward. Within days we experienced a short term power outage then a longer one for which previously we would have run up the aerator and extension leads to the fridge etc Now no bother as after initial 60s blackout to let you realise now on battery etc, the house continued to run as if on grid.. We have had some extended days of wet so fair enough ran out of battery but power bill was down to just over the supply charge. That also included a testing of the app option to charge the battery from grid as a precaution when solar charging not enough and known outage likely.. All in all working exactly as designed and expected. Such a great feeling when your evening and night usage is still coming from solar and extended blackouts are no longer an endurance test, Having done the research called Ben left a message and was called back promptly.After a quick chat to summarise our thoughts Ben set a time to come round carry out a site survey and discuss the options in order generate a quote with a couple of options. Quotes were clear and detailed making it very easy to select the best option for our circumstances. The installation was completed 10 days after accepting the quote. The installation team were timely, efficient and their extensive experience showed through with a thoroughly profession installation. Results at this early stage and in mid winter with maximum shading and shortest days well worth while. Really satisfying using the Fronius app and equally our Electricity retailer app to see just what a difference it is making. We certainly back the advice to install the largest practical panel area you can and also not wait for battery storage to become more cost efficient. Early days but at this stage very happy.
