VoltX Energy

My installer, Jason Li, showed up on time, was very polite, friendly and patient. He and the team did a neat job (see attached photos) and helped me troubleshoot a battery performance issue which was later resolved with a remote firmware update once the issue was escalated to the tech team. Thanks Jason for going above and beyond. I signed up to the 10 kW inverter and 50 kWh single phase battery package with a few circuits for blackout protection. All of this for just $5,700!! Incredible!! It took just over a month from sign up to installation. Very happy with the result and savings. After signing up with Flow Power, our highest daily electricity cost is about -$0.5. That's right, even on a hot cloudy day, a combination of hot temperature and barely any solar, we manage to make about 50 cents. And on a cool sunny day, we make about $3. Woo hoo! Customer Service after the update may be a bit slow to respond which is understandable given the volumes of installs they handle, but if you have a good installer like I did, you'd have nothing to worry about!

We had a 50kWh battery with 10kW inverter installed with backup capability for 4 circuits. I first enquired about the system on the 14th December, and it was fully installed on 6th January. I'm quite particular about installations being neat, and the installers were prepared to run the cabling as I requested. The equipment looks to be of good quality, the installation is neat, and the installers were very professional. The system has worked perfectly since being installed, and our energy usage from the grid has been almost zero since. I was initially concerned when the contract indicated up to 6 months to install, but that certainly was not the situation in my case. I would rate the SolPlanet app is average rather than excellent, but it's quite usable. It's only 1 week since the installation, but I am very happy so far.

Our battery is up and running and we couldn't be happier with how the system is performing. The installation team arrived on time and took the care to ensure all the cabling was tidy and tucked away properly. They even took a moment to walk us through the app so we can actually see what’s happening with our power usage in real-time. It’s a relief to have the backup circuits ready to go, and the crew made sure the whole work area was spotless before they headed off. Dealing with VoltX Energy was straightforward and the battery itself looks great on the wall.

The installation from VoltX Energy was fine and handled very professionally. The guys are good workers—they were polite, hardworking, and ensured the system was set up correctly and neatly. I’m very happy with the system, as everything is perfectly working at this time. The entire process, from booking to the final setup, was smooth and efficient. Great service all around!

I've recently been the recipient of a VoltX 50KWh / 10KW Inverter package. I've been pleased with both the install and system performance to date. The install was planned and executed swiftly, note there was about a month of quietness (I suspect VoltX are very busy) then I received a call asking if the install could occur the following week. The technician, Sean and his crew, arrived promptly as scheduled and proceeded to install the battery and inverter over a 4-5 hour period. I had a long cable run requirement. All the conduit was up to code - electrical conduit and installed super neat, all wall fixings were galvanised and finished well. The battery slab was provided, it's simple and worked well with the levelling feet of the battery columns. The inverter runs reasonably quiet and the battery seems to run cool which is great. We have had several days under heavy use, 35 degree + with the AC going. I also have an EV and have been charging the car, no issues at all. The Solplanet app is used and seems quite flexible in how you can set the system up. I use the Time-Of-Use setting which works well with my electricity plan. I recommend VoltX, although the pricing may seem unbelievable this is not a low quality system. it appears to be built solid and looks good. I suspect VoltX make their revenue from the government rebates and not the install. This is not to diminish the quality of the install, Ive seen some shockers out there and I'm quite fussy. I'm very happy with this install and the professionalism from the team.

Quick and easy. I wasn't overly surprised when I was told to expect a 3 month wait when I paid the deposit, but within 4 weeks I received a call to arrange installation. The crew who turned up explained what they were doing and why, and then ran me through how to configure the settings through the app once complete. A very neat installation inside of our garage, and the 3 stacks aren't too imposing on the space. Making minimal changes to how we use electricity at home has seen our quarterly $1000 bill now at around 50c per day. I wish I could get more than the 53kWH.
