Dean is extremely busy (a good sign of someone in high demand for good reason), so communication wasn’t always immediate, but when he did get back to me, his responses were thorough, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented. I appreciated that, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about the quality of every installation. The workmanship was absolutely first class. The finished system looks neat, tidy, and very professionally done. Even with a fairly complex setup that included several outbuildings, everything was installed seamlessly. I was also pleasantly surprised by a local discount that Dean offered — completely unexpected but very much appreciated. The price was very very competitive being 28.57% less than a second competitor's quote I obtained for the same job. On top of that, he included several extra quite substantial touches at no additional charge, going above and beyond what was quoted. The quote itself arrived promptly, and what really impressed me was the detailed explanatory video Dean sent through. It clearly outlined the proposed system, helping me understand exactly what I was getting and why it was designed that way. The system features Sigenergy equipment, and after seeing it in action, I’m convinced it’s the best in the business — modern, powerful, and backed by an incredibly sophisticated app. The hardware itself is beautifully made, with stainless steel fittings and a rich, powder-coated, weatherproof finish that gives real confidence in long-term durability. We got three quotes from local installers and ended up going with Sun Connect Solar. The clincher was meeting Dean, their head guy — face-to-face, no fuss. He laid everything out in plain English, and we walked away with a good feeling. That’s the beauty of going local. We’re doing the installation in two stages. First up: 19 x 440-watt panels. That part’s done, went off without a hitch, and they’re already pulling in power like champs. Dean and the guys did a great job with our Solar Battery. We felt very comfortable and confident with Dean from the quote stage through to the install. The Sigenergy Battery is great and the App on my phone allows me to check how the battery is performing + more. Would definitely recommend.
