Renewture

Our experience with Renewture has been extremely satisfying. The system design and quoting process was well thought out, took current and future needs into account and involved a thorough inspection of the proposed location to ensure the practicalities of the installation were considered, so there were no surprises at the installation phase. The installation of the solar + battery system was very efficient. The team was well prepared, very well resourced, and completed the installation of the new system and the removal of an old system well within the agreed timeline. The team were very friendly and cooperative and left the site clean and tidy. Customer service and communication throughout the whole process was to a very high standard.

Of the three installers I contacted, the guys at Renewture were the only ones to come out and do a face to face sales phase (not just via phone and email). They spent the time to review our current solar set up, crunch the numbers from our power bills and come up with some suitable options for an appropriately sized battery that would integrate with our existing solar system and suit our needs. On the day of installation the team arrived on time as arranged. The installation itself was done in a neat, tidy and professional manner. In the days following the installation the guys from Renewture contacted me to see how the system is operating and to find out if I had any questions. Overall, I found the guys from Renewture to be honest and reliable. I would have no hesitation in recommending or using their services again.

Late last year we sought a number of quotes through Solar Quotes to upgrade our ageing 15-year-old 3KWH solar system. Although our system was still working despite a few cracks in our panels, we were concerned about the number of power outages on the grid and the hotter, and more humid weather conditions that we are likely to experience as the world warms. We also wanted to save money and were a bit jerked off about declining solar feed-in tariffs. That meant we needed a bigger system linked to a battery, In the end we went with a local company Renewture. Peter from Renewture responded immediately to our enquiry and within a few days had visited our property, checked out requirements and given us a quote. We arranged for an 8kW Solar + 9.6kWh Battery System that was installed three weeks later. The installation was extremely efficient and went off with little fuss. We can’t speak too highly of the professionalism of Peter and his team. One week later Peter returned to see that all was in order and sat with us for several hours explaining how we could get the most from the system. The system works perfectly, we can monitor our usage minute to minute via an app and since the system was installed we have drawn zero energy from the grid. The battery supplies us energy at night and in the event of a grid outage. The battery is usually fully recharged by 9.30am each day. Couldn’t be happier.

From the outset our initial interaction with Peter from Renewture, compared to the other two quotes, left us feeling that this was the Company for us. He didn’t promise the earth, he definitely knew his stuff and had no problems answering any of the questions I had for him. Equally as important, he didn’t treat me as an idiot regardless of the question I put to him. It took longer to complete the contract due to the availability of the Tesla Powerwall 3, but it was worth the wait.Peter kept us in the loop with the timing of installation and when the team arrived they were punctual, efficient workers and always happy and engaging. As with Peter, they also knew their trade and were more than happy to engage me with any information during the course of the installation. Upon completion we were taken through the workings of the new solar/battery system and after a couple of days feel totally at home using and understanding it. The Tesla Power wall 3 coupled with our Rec Alpha Pure R 420W panels are a winning combination and we’re so glad we did it. We would wholeheartedly recommend Renewture to anyone in the Northern Rivers wanting to install Solar and or Battery.
