I was recommended to Classic Moves by a retired colleague, who like me, is a single person. The thought of me packing up my house on my own, and moving to storage while I sold my property was overwhelming and daunting. From the moment I made contact with Classic Moves, when Kerri visited me to give a quote, I was reassured. On the packing day, Joy, Helen and Cecilia were amazing. Their care, patience and friendly conversation made the first part of the process calming and stress free. On the day of the move to storage, Chris, Carl and David were incredibly efficient and like the ladies who packed, most careful with my possessions. I have been so impressed with the level of professionalism and the warmth and positive support I have been given by everyone I have encountered at Classic Moves. I would not hesitate to recommend them and am so grateful for all they have done to make this huge task so much easier for me. Thank you, to each member of the team.

Trev, Dan and MJ helped make a difficult 2 stage move unbelievably easy. Their professionalism and care was put to the test but we cant speak highly enough of these amazing men and their strength and skills. Many many thanks. The wonderful Kerri was behind the scenes working her magic, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

We were so happy with Classic Moves, Annette was fabulous from the second she stepped through Mum's front door. She knew what needed to be done and as we were doing the packing gave us some tips. Everything happened on the day and at the time we were told it would happen and if they were running late we were called and kept up to date. The three guys that did Mum's move were excellent, very professional but also nice people and engaged in conversation. I was happy that they had already moved other people into the retirement village and knew what they needed to do. Annette even popped in to see Mum a few days after the move and check on how she was settling in. Classic Moves made it very easy to move Mum out of the family home of 50 years and into the brand new retirement living complex. I would definitely recommend Classic Moves.

The team at Classic Moves / Abbeys Auctions were absolutely fantastic. They supported my family every step of the way in moving my parents belongings into aged care and then Auctioning/ donating or disposing of decades of possessions. The entire team were caring, considerate and compassionate during a difficult life transition. Highly recommend !

After the purchase of my new home, the next best idea I had was to consult Classic Moves. Starting from my initial consultation with Annette, the whole process was smoothly and professionally organised and handled. Some furniture was taken to be auctioned, donated or recycled. The rest was packed, with amazing efficiency, by three of the nicest, most encouraging and friendly ladies - Helen, Yvonne and Joy. The movers themselves worked quickly loading the truck. The process was then repeated in reverse at my new place. When they all left the boxes were empty, the cupboards were full. And my bed was made! At the end of the process I sincerely felt I had been working with friends at each step. Thank you, Classic Moves for the worry free experience.
