An excellent experience. We moved our furniture out to our large garage while the house was painted and the floors sanded. Then we moved back into the house 3 weeks later. It could have been a nightmare but it wasn't. Lilli was good to communicate with to book and make arrangements and Allen and Chris did the moving. Allen worked with us to complete different rooms as suited us. They were skilled and helpful with good ideas. We thoroughly recommend this business. They have a respectful and personal touch in their dealings with people like us, who are under the pump.

When it came time for my mum to move into an aged care facility and sell her home, a couple of spot-on recommendations led us to TBMI to help clear out her belongings prior to settlement. After an initial scoping meeting with Shane and Lilli that I found incredibly reassuring and helpful, my anxiety about getting the job done in time went way down. It's not easy doing something like this at any time (unless you're dealing with a minimalist household - lol - we had the opposite), much less when you live interstate! Shane and Tilly both spent four hours each with my sister and me helping us deal with my mothers' numerous, voluminous and often eclectic collections that she'd passionately pursued over 50 years, plus clear out cupboards etc - whatever we needed most on the day. With their expert eye and professionalism we were able to get through the intimidating volume of work (my mum's home was quite large; we dealt with as much low-hanging fruit as we could on our own... but there was still a lot left that somehow all managed to get addressed on the day with Shane and Tilly). Shane and Tilly were kind and very understanding / experienced in the family dynamics involved at times like these. We saw first-hand their spookily good sense of when they should check in with family member about something in case it's important / very sentimental. Shane has a network of contacts he uses to deal with situations like ours in as sustainable a way as possible He gives great advice along the way, and has a very nifty app (currently proprietary - I wish I had a copy!) he uses to assess and value tricky items. This helps you make better decisions / tradeoffs when you decide what to do with some items, and what items you should concentrate your efforts on vs others. I highly recommend TBMI.
