We Like To Move It

Jonathan and Ant helped the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland move our library (6000 books), furniture and fittings around our office spaces in order for the old carpet to be taken up and new carpet installed. We needed their help on 3 separate days. They worked to the agreed schedule very efficiently and followed our instructions cheerfully. They generously loaned us their dollies from Wednesday to Saturday which was a huge bonus. I thoroughly recommend We Like to Move It.

They moved my entire life from a storage shed into my new apartment and somehow made it feel… easy? No drama, just pure efficiency, good vibes, and a level of care that made me realise that my research was done right by chosing these guys. They showed up early, handled my belongings like they were priceless antiques (even the very non-antique stuff), and worked fast without ever feeling rushed or careless. Heavy furniture, awkward angles, tight spaces — nothing phased them. I swear they made it look effortless, which I know it absolutely is not. Bonus points for being genuinely lovely humans. Friendly, upbeat, professional, and the kind of people you’re actually glad to have around on a big, stressful day. By the end of it, I was tired just watching them and very, very grateful. I booked Ant and Jonny last minute after my original removalist didn’t show up. I had to work from home during the move, which added to the stress, but these guys made everything so easy. I left them a few notes and my keys, and they packed up my 2 bedroom apartment and moved everything from Brisbane to the Gold Coast without a hitch. Super professional, efficient, and trustworthy.
