My Davey pool pump wasn't circulating water. I took it into Scott and he said "Have you got a minute" and fixed the problem while I waited and acted as a 2nd pair of hands. Got the pump sorted and tested in 30 minutes of so, and charged a great price. I would highly recommend Scott and Superior Pool Pumps to get your pool pump working.

Thanks Scott for the amazing service. I was considering replacing my jetvac pump with a new one costing hundreds of dollars, but Scott was able to repair it in less than 10 minutes for $65. In a world where good customer service is either non-existent or hard to find, this was a really refreshing experience. Thanks again

It's great to find a tradesman who is honest and ethical. My pool pump stopped working, so took it to Superior for repair. Turns out it's cheaper to buy a new one because parts are expensive. Free quote is very generous for the time and effort taken to examine the pump and quote for repair, so the best I can do is recommend the service on Google! Thanks Superior!

Popped in this morning with my faulty pool pump. The guys looked at it straight away, diagnosed the problem and repaired it on the spot. Most impressed with their service. Highly recommend.

Great service! I turned up 5 minutes before closing and they stayed back and fixed my pool pump on the spot. Also they gave me some tips on how to fix the problem if it happens again.

Frequently asked questions

How much do pool technicians typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on the type of job, its complexity and whether parts or full equipment replacements are required. Call-out fees, diagnostic time and after‑hours attendance often increase the total. This page shows live pricing to help you compare quotes for your specific job.
Do pool technicians charge call-out fees?
Many pool technicians charge a call-out fee to attend and carry out an initial diagnosis, which is usually separate from hourly labour and parts. After‑hours or emergency visits often attract higher rates. Check the live pricing shown on the page and confirm any call-out or minimum fees when getting quotes.
When do pool technicians need a licence?
Registration or a contractor licence is required in some states, with NSW, QLD and SA commonly requiring a current state contractor licence that can be verified on the public register. Whether a licence is needed often depends on the scope of work, so it's wise to ask for licence details and proof of insurance for larger installations or contractor-level work. Industry memberships and qualifications such as SPASA membership and Certificate III or IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Service are common indicators of experience.
