A big THANK YOU to Anthony and Tony for their advice, honesty and patience. We had many bumps along the way with others builders and contractors which has impacted the pool build but they have been very accommodating and where possible have gone the extra mile to get our pool completed before Christmas. Their work is high standard and very professionals, they don’t cut corners, they tell how it is (whether you like or not!) and always work with us to come up with solutions. They were transparent and clear with their costs, making sure we are engaged and having the final say before any additional costs are incurred. We would absolutely recommend and use again.

I undertook the task of having a large concrete in ground pool demolished and in filled for our aunt. After asking the local council their advice, the path taken was via a CDC [Compliance Development Certificate].This was in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, where parking is at best scarce and can be difficult . For the excavator to access the work site it would have to be navigated through a garage into a work shop and through a doorway which was narrow with 10 mm leeway and up ramps due to the presence of steps by Holly! The site has a natural spring entering the property on the diagonal running under the to be demolished pool structure, increasing the requirement of adequate drainage keeping the garage dry and to be problem free, an engineer was consulted. Consequently a No Fines retaining wall was required. This was a huge learning experience for me, many phone calls , emails , inquiries and conversations with a multitude of professionals and trades etc. Then organising contractors appointments and quotes. This process was about 14 months, in part because I had quotes given before it was deemed necessary for the engineer’s consultation, therefore needing new quotes. Anthony Papadopolous of Mr Pools was a contractor I came across early in the inquiry process and was most helpful with advice and loads of commonsense. Mr Pools quote was very reasonable, we accepted it and the task to demolish and in fill the pool would commence on his return from a five week OS trip. An approximate timeline of two weeks had been given to allow for weather, materials, equipment and any unforeseen problems etc. As planned on Anthony's return the pool water was pumped out Tuesday, Holly on the excavator and Tony site manager and the team arrived Wednesday they proceeded to demolished, in filled and had turf laid by FRIDAY !!!! Anthony and Tony returned on the Monday to complete a couple of small aesthetics/cosmetic things and to clean the site. We were ecstatic the ugly eye sore of a dilapidated pool (duck pond !!)was gone. Anthony and the team personable whilst professional, I highly endorse Mr Pools and have no hesitation in recommending this business. Many thanks Anthony and your team. Vivienne Timmins

I had started my in-ground concrete pool project with the pool maker that was voted 'Australia's best pool builder'. This project developed into a nightmare and was a very bad experience. It had to be stopped with this previous pool builder. I was stuck with a hole in the ground and no one to finish off my pool project. After looking around and dealing with several pool builders, I chose Mr Pools. This was down to a few things, their professionalism, honesty and their willingness to help regardless of taking on a half started project. It was this positive attitude to help me that I chose Mr Pools to finish my project. They took me on a journey and learning experience, from beginning to end. Each time they said they were going to show up and do something, they delivered. Their quality of workmanship is second to none and I am extremely happy with the way they delivered my pool. I cannot fault these guys. They have exceeded my expectations and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking to do a pool project.
