Melbourne Drain Relining

We had Ryan and his team attend to our storm water pipes after receiving an over quoted price from another company. Melbourne Drain Relining saved us literally thousands of dollars. I had a damaged underground storm water pipe and had a hard time finding a suitable service provider to fix it. It was discovered unexpectedly by the service provider who came to clear the gutters who said that storm water was not flowing smoothly as the down pipe was damaged due to pressure and water was leaking out of it, possibly due to a damaged under-ground pipe. They said it could be a sign of a bigger problem and advised to get a plumber to investigate further. I got a well-known (and expensive) plumbing company to come take a look and they dug two massive holes in my backyard and confirmed i had a damaged underground storm-water pipe with evidence of plastic pieces pulled out of the ground but they said they were not able to fix it as it was too big a job and even if they were to do it, that would cost me a fortune and a couple of days. They then left without even giving me a quote. Later i got 3 quotes fm 3 different companies without even a guarantee they could fix it for that price and the quotes were too expensive that it could have paid 3-4 years' worth of council fees or bought myself a 2005 Camry in good nick!!! After a few sleepless nights and a LOT of research on Google I found MDR and gave Ryan a call to discuss my problem. He came to inspect it at no cost, found the exact cause of the problem and later gave me a quote to properly FIX the whole issue. This quote was at least 4 times cheaper than the next cheapest quote i got so i decided to go ahead. Ryan's colleague Kyle, who's a very nice bloke, came in a couple of days, dug out the old pipe, cleared the blockage, used CCTV to check for more blockages, and put in a new pipe, tested the line again, and filled the two massive holes and flattened the ground - all in a few hours - and you could not even tell that a big project like that had just been done!!!. It was done professionally and efficiently, even though it took a lot of effort by Kyle, but now it's all done and i don't have to worry abt possible structural damages to my house anymore!! This restored my faith in businessmen as you don't find a lot of genuine, professional service providers these days. Do yourself a favour and call Ryan for your plumbing needs - big or small - as you will NOT find a better company in Victoria for complex jobs which are professionally fixed at reasonable rates. We had an aged clay sewer pipe running under my backyard and concrete garage which was cracked in 6 locations by tree roots. It was a shared sewer pipe which adversely affected my neighbours upstream. After weeks of obtaining conflicting advice from several melbourne plumbers, I was fortunate to have found MDR. Brent came to quote the job and placed a camera down the pipe at no cost. He explained the problem clearly and the process of relining an underground pipe without excavation. The quote was reasonable and competitive. Ryan and Kyle attended site for 3 days. They communicated clearly, was punctual, neat and left me a clean site daily. The works including cutting through the concrete slab for a new inspection opening was completed in compliance with the VBA plumbing guidelines. Before and after videos of the drain were shared with all owners. No shortcuts, honest and professional plumbers. My neighbours and I are very grateful to MDR for a job well done and would highly recommend them.

I contacted Ryan after receiving a very expensive quote from another company to reline my boundary trap. Ryan was easy going, responsive and very reasonably priced. He did not charge to do the initial inspection (the other company had charged me $500 for this), and was able to get the job done in no time at almost 20% of the cost I had originally been quoted. I would recommend MDR to anyone - they were friendly, professional and honest.
