Boyd’s Plumbing Solutions New Gisborne

Have recently used Guy to sort a long term plumbing problem in a house I purchased in Gisborne. Guy is an expert in his field ! He not only got to the bottom of this serious under house damp problem after years of obvious ‘band aid’ solutions he did a very thorough job to excavate, trench, pipe and redirect the water seepage. Guy is a honest straight talker you can trust! He explains everything thoroughly and went above and beyond to sort all the plumbing needed and kept me informed with photos and details of work as I am not moving into house until all has been sorted. Guy turns up when he says he will and lets you know if there will be a change if time . Personally I have found navigating tradies hit and miss over the last 20 years but rest assured Guy Boyd is a man you can trust and know the job will be done professionally, efficiently and without stress.

Highly recommended. Arrived on time, diagnosed a long term drainage problem quickly, and was able to resolve it with professional advice, and quality workmanship. Provided a detailed report and a reasonable invoice, and left my house/yard neat and tidy. Couldn't ask for better workmanship, advice or price.

Literally the best plumber you can wish for. I was unfortunately caught up in the liquidation of Porter Davis at the pre-slab stage of my build. As part of claiming for insurance (and due diligence to check for faults), I was highly recommended a plumber who ended up doing a report on the plumbing that was so poor that the insurance company genuinely couldn't understand the report. Then my new builder recommended Guy. Not only was he a true professional, he was also fast at communicating, honest and very thorough with his inspection. The insurance company actually commented on how detailed and well-written the inspection was. In addition, Guy made recommendations as well as shared thoughts that gave us the much needed reassurance about his expertise and the genuine concern he had for us. Working with Guy after the liquidation process gave us so much confidence and faith that there are still a few brilliant professionals in the industry that took real pride in the work they did and the customers they served. Guy Boyd has been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Responsive, quick to come around and quote us and did an overall great job.
