Outstanding Customer service provided by this business! Losing your hot water service is frustrating and costly. After researching extensively I chose Rheem as the unit for replacement. I left my contact details on the Rheem site and waited for a reply. Steve rang 9:15 Monday morning and we discussed the problem and I was given an estimate for replacing my Edwards dual panel Roop top Solar hot water system. Don't be naive, this will be a substantial upfront cost, with savings to be felt for the next 15 to 20 years (lifecycle). Steve advised me to have it looked at to 'fault find' the problem, maybe I don't need a full replacement. Dave attended at 10:30 (same day!). I have never met such a friendly and honest contractor. This man knows his skills. He quickly identified the element had 'blown' and he was able to replace it immediately (had the part on board). I appreciated the explanation of his 'fault finding' and further discussion about the unit. I now know when it was manufactured and an estimate of when it was installed - approx Jan 2009. Cost - $475 (Aug 2025) including parts, labour and 50km+ attendance. Potential cost - $7000+ (similar unit replacement) *I will still need to pay this, within the next 5 years - my unit is 16 years old. SA Hot Water are the most honest, reliable, prompt, efficient and friendly business I've dealt with in years! I highly recommend you call them for all your hot water needs.
