Jake is a delightful young man who did an excellent job on my new walls and kitchen range hood. He paid attention to detail with a great finish to the job. He is reliable and a hard worker . I highly recommend him .

To Whom It May Concern. Jake Edwards (Jbahhs Plastering) recently completed gyprocking at 6 Allen Street, Hartley Vale, an old dwelling. The work consisted of sheeting ceilings in four rooms and two passageways; and fitting patterned fibrous plaster cornices, ceiling rosettes and vents. Though the ceiling joists in the building tended to be uneven, when sheeted the ceilings showed no unevenness and the finished joints between the sheets were flawless. When fitting the cornices, Jake was painstaking. Fitting patterned cornices is difficult as the repetition of the pattern does not match the length of the wall/ceiling to which the cornice is attached. However, with care, the flow of the pattern at corners (both inside and outside can be well matched and lake managed this with great success. He also pointed out and made good blemishes in the manufacture of the cornices so, when fitted, they appeared unblemished. (I point out that I chose, ordered and took delivery of the cornices, so their shortcomings were no reflection on Jake.) Apart from the skill and care that Jake took in doing the work, his approach was consultative; consequently, any minor problems that might have led to even my slightest dissatisfaction were discussed beforehand. For example, fibres along he edges of the cornices that I would have needed to trim before painting were pointed out to me by Jake (I would never have noticed them and removed by him before fitting.
