I recently contracted Tarry from GT Painters and Decorators for both the exterior and interior painting of our investment property in Launceston, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Before we even purchased the house, he was the most responsive painter we contacted. When I travelled to Launceston to inspect properties, he met me on short notice and provided clear, realistic ballpark figures that helped guide our budget and decision-making. Within days of settling on a house, his team completed a full exterior repaint — roof, eaves, weatherboards, and front fence — completely transforming the look of the property. The preparation work was thorough, and the attention to detail was obvious in the final result. Following some renovations, he and his team returned to handle all the interior painting, including ceilings, walls, timber trim, and doors. Again, the quality and care were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Professional, reliable, and genuinely easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Contacted Tarry to update our older style doors and trims, mantels and 3 bench tops. These were in varying condition and some required a lot of prep work. He was accurate with his time frame and we are very happy with the work completed by Tarry and his team. The quoted price was competitive and he kept us updated daily on how things were tracking.
