Alex and family are a fantastic crew. Not only are my ceilings immaculately painted, Alex repaired AC vent holes, damaged cornice and ceiling plaster, and a wall to the point where everything looks as new. This is a great local business - professional, punctual and good communicators and the pride they take in their work is obvious. I will use them again and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Alex and his team are not painters, they are master restorers! Our 1940s miner's cottage was in need of major work. The 12ft ornate ceilings and cracked horse hair plaster walls needed major repairs. Alex offered solutions and did major restorative work. His prep work, set us up for a great finish. He only uses top quality products. We are so happy with the results. Charlestown Painting also worked around our schedule, as we worked from home. Nothing was too much of a bother for Alex. Anyone looking for quality work should choose Alex and his team. Best painter in town! Alex is precise and has impeccable attention to detail. We had major issues with the paint in our house. It’s was pealing everywhere! Alex took the time to sand the whole house back, sealed it and then painted over the walls. Once he was finished he checked every wall and to make sure it was perfect. I’ll be getting him back to do more work in the future. I’ll attach some of the before and after below.
