Byron came exactly on time, was so polite, and gave me a quote for the jungle my yard had become. Because he's so busy he couldn't come for another week and I mentioned I was scared to lose a chicken in the overgrown grass, so he whipped his ride on off and cut the grass down for me so the chickens could last until the following Wednesday! When he came back he did a great, diligent job and with his keen eye and enthusiasm, I'm excited to see my yard turn from wilderness to manicured with his help.

5 stars all round for service, reliability and great price. Byron was absolutely lovely and trustworthy. He was able to help us out on short notice and I could tell he took pride in his work. He worked hard for the money because our grass was so overgrown. My anxiety was put to rest after I saw the results.

Did such a good job with our yard for our kids to play on, we moved into our place and definitely needed a tidy up, I would recommend to others in surrounding areas :)

We really appreciate the work Byron did for us. He's reliable, polite and takes real pride in doing a thorough job. A genuinely good young bloke that I would recommend.

As a business owner, I rely on people who are consistent, reliable, and professional — and this young lad delivers exactly that every time. We’ve been regular customers of his lawn care service for a while now, and he has never once let us down. His manners and communication are excellent, he always shows up when scheduled, and the quality of his work is top-tier. Our property is kept neat, tidy, and presentable thanks to his attention to detail and strong work ethic. It’s impressive to see someone so young run their business with this level of commitment. We’re proud to support his work and will continue using his services long-term. Highly recommended.

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
