Brighton Reticulation

Had Sam out this morning to fix a split pipe under the driveway. He sorted it out in a couple of hours which would have taken me half a day and many trips to Bunnings. What a great job and a nice young bloke. Super happy that my retic is working great again. Couldn’t be happier with the job.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received. Sam took our call on a Saturday morning to fix an emergency leak. He first did his best to help on the phone and when we couldn't find a solution he came over and sorted out the issue, with zero notice. All while being respectful, smiling, and providing useful tips along the way.

Firstly, apologies to Andrew - this review is a few months overdue! Secondly, words cannot express how incredible Andrew was from beginning to end when replacing our front lawn and retic in late 2016! Being first home owners/renovators with no green thumb to speak of, we were feeling completely overwhelmed as to where to start with landscaping/lawn/retic (well I was anyway). I first discovered Andrew via his Brighton Reticulation blog, and was inspired by his knowledge and expertise. After contacting him, he agreed to make an exception and take on our job, even though we live close to the city - a very long drive from Yanchep! Thirdly, Andrew did everything he said he was going to do - and did it when he said he would - a rarity these days! He was also incredibly accommodating of me being VERY particular about every single aspect of the process, and was always patient and understanding (and I sent him A LOT of text messages). He provided good advice and suggestions regarding how to proceed, putting us at ease whilst incorporating our wishes as well. He also coordinated earth works (big shout out to his bobcat guy Kam, who even dug out some of our yard by hand!), removal and disposal of old lawn and retic (including huge lengths of rusted out galvanised piping), facilitated switch in water supply, did new solenoid installation, sorted electrical work (his guy did a great job) - and of course installed the new retic (high quality Toro) and lawn (beautiful Empire Zoysia from Westland Turf). He usually coordinates plumbing work as well however was happy to work around us using our own guy (Greg from New Way Plumbing and Gas, who is brilliant). Andrew took care of everything, did an amazing job at a reasonable price, and always provided timely service with a smile. And, when we had a concern about a section of the lawn subsequent to installation, he was so responsive! In addition to his follow up, he even facilitated visits from Daniel (Westland Turf) - who was also fantastic. Expert advice was provided and the issue resolved without any drama. In my limited experience with trades as a new homeowner and renovator, Andrew's aftercare, pride in a job well done, and genuine concern for our happiness and satisfaction has thus far been unparalleled. He even let us get spare sprinkler heads on his account with Total Eden! I would not hesitate in recommending Andrew / Brighton Reticulation to people, and tell anyone who will listen how AWESOME he was! My husband and I are planning future back yard work in a month or two, and would not use anybody else. Highly recommend Andrew at Brighton Reticulation! Andrew sorted out my reticulation system and put down brand new grass out the back and it looks amazing, he explained the entire process and what steps needed to be taken. The job was done quickly but most importantly efficiently and of extremely high standard. I could not have asked for a better service. He was willing to help out even a month after the job was complete making sure I took all the appropriate steps to ensure my grass was kept in the best condition possible even helping me out when I couldn't figure out my retic box to change water times and days! Anyone looking for Lawn and retic, Andrew is the guy!!
