Back Yard Mates

Paul and Backyard Mates were brilliant. We'd had multiple quotes to prepare and install a deck and pergola on the rear of our house plus attach an existing awning to the front. Paul was super responsive, came out and quoted quickly. Him and his team worked solidly for 5 days and created the best outdoor space for us. Brilliant craftsmanship and just a lovely bloke. Highly recommend.

I am not the handiest person so it was somewhat of a godsend to meet Paul at a networking breakfast I attend. After hearing of the great work he’d done in his local community and for other members of our networking group I decided to get Paul to help with hanging a television and fixing a sliding door. Paul consistently said he’s happy to do small work - in fact, that he enjoys it. We have a list of other projects for Paul to work through. Paul had done several smaller projects for us and we had always been impressed with the quality and value of his work. He has just finished building our new deck and it is sensational. Our block slopes so it was complicated and he provided great design suggestions, worked with our ideas and then provided an outstanding aesthetic and functional result. Couldn’t be happier!

Paul and his team were easy to work with, polite, knowledgeable and clean. They were able to repair our water damaged ceiling and cornice as well as tackle a tree branch outside. Highly recommend and locals which is brilliant for us.

Paul and his team were awesome and we would really recommend them. Paul was so responsive and gave great advice on how we could achieve our plan at the best cost. His team were able to lay a bluestone slab, create a garden bed, lay artificial turf and complete a small decking step in under 1.5 days.
