Welcome to my review for Byford Glass. If you need a glazier you don't need to go any further than Mark at Byford Glass. His work is professional and his customer relations impeccable. Having dealt with Mark on a glass window for our kitchen I can certainly say that you couldn't have a more capable man to do your glazing work. Also you would certainly not find a better experience with any other company. Thank you so very much Mark.

Attention to detail, nice finishes, competitive prices. Byford Glass did an excellent job rectifying another companies bad work, and more recently installed some BAL 40 rated stainless steel window screens to our house. I could tell from watching Mark apprentice his son during the install that he is a genuine craftsman.

Frequently asked questions

How much do glaziers typically charge?
Glazing costs vary a lot depending on the job type, glass specification, access and the number of panes involved. Simple repairs are typically much less than supply-and-fit work for large or safety-compliant panels. This page shows live pricing for your area to help you compare likely costs.
Do glaziers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and many glaziers also charge an hourly labour rate, with materials billed separately. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts a higher multiplier. Always confirm call-out and after-hours terms when getting quotes.
Do glaziers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Glaziers are required to hold a contractor or glazing licence in each Australian state and territory. In NSW, licences are managed by NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). You should ask to see a licence number and appropriate insurance details before hiring.
How do I get a quote from Byford Glass?
Byford Glass lists phone, email, or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
