Mike was brilliant, was here within half an hour of enquiring and finished the job in less 90 mins of my phone call. Window looks amazing, really helped me out quickly to keep my 1yo and 4yo safe after the living room window broke. Really impressed. I highly recommend the workmanship and he was a really nice guy! Will call you next time the kids break something! Thank you!

Thanks so much Mike for your excellent service. Came out to do a quote which was half the price of another local glass repairer. Was fixed the next day. Highly recommend

Frequently asked questions

How much do glaziers typically charge?
Glazing costs vary a lot depending on the job type, glass specification, access and the number of panes involved. Simple repairs are typically much less than supply-and-fit work for large or safety-compliant panels. This page shows live pricing for your area to help you compare likely costs.
Do glaziers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and many glaziers also charge an hourly labour rate, with materials billed separately. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts a higher multiplier. Always confirm call-out and after-hours terms when getting quotes.
Do glaziers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Glaziers are required to hold a contractor or glazing licence in each Australian state and territory. In NSW, licences are managed by NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). You should ask to see a licence number and appropriate insurance details before hiring.
How do I get a quote from Kelmscott Glass?
Kelmscott Glass lists phone or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
