Eden Building & Landscaping

Late last year (2025) the team at Eden building & landscaping did a backyard renovation of my small Lshaped backyard. I found the ideas from Ed very helpful in transforming the yard into a lovely place to be. There was also flexibility for small tweaks and changes throughout the process. The team were friendly and efficient when on site and the office staff were always helpful when I had comments or queries. In January I had an issue with the drip watering system (my fault) and it was sorted by the team at no charge ! I love my new backyard and would recommend Eden building & landscaping.

After 40 years, our front garden was looking tired, so we decided it needed a fresh change. We contacted Eden Building and Landscaping and, within hours, Ed and Lisa visited our property to discuss a new design, some options for plants and a watering system, and to prepare a quote. We liked the design Lisa prepared, asked for one or two slight changes to some of the plant species, and accepted the quote. Lisa rang around the suppliers to get us just the sort of established trees we'd asked for and work started. Michael and Callum worked tirelessly, removing existing plants and roots, preparing a new bed of soil, installing a watering system, and planting a wonderful array of small plants and ground covers. After clearing away some of the existing clay they were able to plant the established magnolias and a beautiful weeping maple. Lisa and Ed were often on site to assist with the soil preparation, planting, mulching and site cleaning. Ed put in some paving stones for easy access to our letterbox. The work was completed in under three and a half days. Throughout the process Lisa, Ed, Michael and Callum checked in with us regularly to ensure that we were happy with the garden as it took shape or to pass on tips for care and maintenance of the plants. We couldn't be happier with the finished garden. We love the layout and the quality and selection of the plants. We're so happy with the work done by Eden and the way that they went about it, that we've already had discussions with them about returning to do some other work on our property. Engaging Eden to design and landscape our new garden was one of the best decisions we've made in a long, long time.

Eduardo came to assess and advise on a retaining wall that had seen better days. He was generous with his time and ideas, including options to use new technology (Super sleepers) due to limited access. He was flexible and realistic in discussing a range of options and helping to weigh costs and benefits of each. When asked, he made helpful suggestions for other parts of the garden and outdoor spaces. At all times, the interaction felt relaxed, friendly and not at all pressured. Ed generously provided an industry contact for possible interim work who also turned out to be excellent. It was clarifying to have Ed's assessment to aid in deciding next steps. It was also good to learn about Eden's range of services and they will stay on my contact list in case of future need. Thank you, Ed!

Ed and the team provided practical advice for fixing a part crumbling brick front patio and a section of dilapidated tiles leading to front tap. All were renovated with care, and a lot of work! We also opted to have some rubbish removed, garden beds sorted with pine bark, plus a retaining wall. Old house looks renewed and many positive comments from passersby. Thank you!
