Highly recommend Gympie Fencing! They were professional, punctual, and easy to deal with from start to finish. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of their work was excellent. The team worked efficiently and left everything neat and tidy. It’s great to see a local business that takes pride in what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

This team is second to none. Having carefully studied various fencing projects around where I live, I identified Gympie Fencing as the standout in terms of quality results. Contacted Nicole and explained what I needed - something non-standard. Instead of saying "no, sorry, we don't use that product", Nicole said she'd look into it and sent one of the team to measure up for the 3 different projects. I really appreciated that attitude and approach. From a small section of timber fence at the front, to the pool equipment enclosure and the big project - the modular walls running parallel to the boundary fence with one of my neighbours, Riley, Chandler, Bailey and Gary did an outstanding job. I am super happy with the results and the guys worked around a few challenges my block presented. Nothing was too much trouble. I 100% recommend Gympie Fencing for all your fencing needs, including modularwalls! Thank you for solving my issues.

Fencing costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do fencers typically charge?
Fencing costs vary considerably depending on fence type, length, materials, site conditions and whether existing fencing must be removed. Simple repairs or short runs of standard post-and-paling or Colourbond typically cost less than full replacements or jobs on difficult ground. The page shows live pricing for common fencing jobs, and quotes usually include a call-out fee plus labour and materials, with after-hours work attracting higher rates.
Do fencers charge call-out fees?
Many fencers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, particularly for small or diagnostic visits. This fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials and may be credited against the job total. Confirm whether a call-out fee applies when you request a quote.
When do fencers need a licence?
Fencing work may require registration or a contractor licence in some states and territories; requirements vary by jurisdiction. Jobs that affect safety or involve pool fencing, structural posts or significant replacement work are examples that may trigger registration. Where applicable, look for a valid state contractor licence, ABN with GST, current public liability insurance, industry association membership (for example FIAA) and a White Card.
How do I get a quote from Gympie Fencing?
Gympie Fencing lists phone or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
