Focus Fencing builds great customer relationships, they are open and transparent in their pricing and offer alternatives to work within budget constraints. Having used them on a couple of occasions they are on time, clean up after themselves and have a high quality of workmanship. I’m very pleased with our fencing solution. It gives total privacy from the road and looks great. Thanks Focus Fencing.

Conceptually a reasonably straightforward retaining wall with fence above job turned decidedly challenging when an original retaining wall was discovered concealed under the existing ground. Tony led the team forward and with all parties in agreement the process continued on to the completion. The team cleaned up and there best under some trying conditions. Highly recommended.

These guys are top notch. From the owner to the guys who installed our fences; they are all very professional. Communication is constant and clear, cost is reasonable and the fences look incredible.

Frequently asked questions

How much do fencers typically charge?
Fencing costs vary considerably depending on fence type, length, materials, site conditions and whether existing fencing must be removed. Simple repairs or short runs of standard post-and-paling or Colourbond typically cost less than full replacements or jobs on difficult ground. The page shows live pricing for common fencing jobs, and quotes usually include a call-out fee plus labour and materials, with after-hours work attracting higher rates.
Do fencers charge call-out fees?
Many fencers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, particularly for small or diagnostic visits. This fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials and may be credited against the job total. Confirm whether a call-out fee applies when you request a quote.
When do fencers need a licence?
Fencing work may require registration or a contractor licence in some states and territories; requirements vary by jurisdiction. Jobs that affect safety or involve pool fencing, structural posts or significant replacement work are examples that may trigger registration. Where applicable, look for a valid state contractor licence, ABN with GST, current public liability insurance, industry association membership (for example FIAA) and a White Card.
