KDEC Electrical & Solar

I didn't go with kdec but want to get this info out. I engaged them for solar on our new build. They won't give quotes unless you go into office. Fine, off I go. I get my quote back via email several days later and it's far more than I anticipated. I didn't get any follow up so I left it. A few months later I decided to have another crack as we did need to get solar sorted soon. Again I had to go into office, so I drag the family over. I was specific on the phone that I wanted to look into more budget friendly options and a smaller system. Originally I was quoted for a 19 and 13kw system. I was told that these systems are based off what they think I need. I told them we have a small system on our current home that we're happy with. I was ready to sign up that day if they could show me some prices. They sent me off and I waited. The quote i recieved was the original quote but more expensive due to a price increase. I really feel snubbed and that my business isn't worth their time if im not buying the biggest system. For record im going with a competitor and 10kw system which was more affordable. The quality of the panels are on par with kdec but they gave me the time and listened instead of "this is what you need". If they simply quoted me what I asked i wouldn't feel this way. It was the way they went about it that has bothered me and time wasted.

I am very happy with the job KDEC performed at my place. Very professional. They managed to install the battery in the position I was hoping for. Quality work and nothing left behind. All the staff at KDEC were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would give them six stars if I could! 😁

Both Jess and Jessica were great to have as a go to for information and help and the team that installed our system were great and very neat and tidy in doing their job.
