I agree with all the other reviews for Hardy Brothers. Mark was so easy to work with, liaised with other trades on the job and executed his tasks in a timely and professional manner. He also had an eye on costs to me and was polite and personable. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again or to recommend him to others. I also have a very old house. Apart from that, everything he did still works!!

Mark was such a dream to work with. He arrived at my studio when he said he would, gave me a thorough quote and then went over and above by not only fixing the job he'd come to do but fixed some other issues I had from a previous electrician. I would definitely use Mark again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He is a true professional and, extremely good at what he does

Mark did a great job with replacing lights, powerpoints and a new switchboard in our unit. It's about 4 months on now and everything continues to work just fine.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
Is Hardy Brothers Electrical licensed?
Yes. Hardy Brothers Electrical currently shows an active trade licence on SureQuote.
How do I get a quote from Hardy Brothers Electrical?
