We've known Brett for 5 years have always had good experiences with him as an electrician. He's quick to diagnose and fix electrical issues and explains everything clearly along the way. Honest, reliable, and very fair with pricing — no upselling or surprises. Turned up on time, worked efficiently, and was a real pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend and no hesitation using him again. Thanks mate 👍

Second time we’ve had Brett work on our home and he will be our electrician going forward. Adding power points, security lighting, upgrading switchboard(no more asbestos, compliant and much neater), adding additional circuit for new appliances and getting our old house compliant and ready for renovations. Highly recommended Quality work, neat and clean and explains everything he does clearly and openly

Brett came around today to install an outdoor power point for a new water feature. He was very professional, friendly and did a great job. He also left the garden and garage tidy. I’ve asked him to come back to replace a non functioning sensor and security light and will certainly call on him for all future electrical work.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
Does Electrical Avenue have a verified ABN?
Yes. Electrical Avenue has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
How do I get a quote from Electrical Avenue?
