We had a great experience with Bob !! He arrived right on time and got started immediately. It was clear he really knows his work , he installed our external and porch lights, kitchen island pendants, internal wall lights, and fans . Everything looks great and works flawlessly. He also cleaned up thoroughly after finishing, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience, and we’ll definitely be engaging him again for all our future electrical work. Highly recommend!

Had Bob come over to install an additional PowerPoint and TV connections in the house. He was able to fit us into his schedule promptly, worked neatly and tidily, and cleaned up after himself. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you for making the process of adding a PowerPoint for Mum’s Christmas tree so smooth and easy!

I had a great experience with Bob. He installed several downlights and power points for me, and I couldn't be happier with the result. What really stood out was the professionalism: communication was clear from start to finish, and he was right on time for the appointment. The work itself is neat, precise, and left the area spotless. Highly recommend! I have already engaged him for another work.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
