Ahh, mon ami… let me tell ye the tale of LNP Electrical, the finest crew o’ spark-wranglers this side of Bass Strait! ⚓️ It was a mild and listless spring day when they came aboard our old timber cottage — a vessel creaking with age and history, where the floors moaned like the hull of a ship long lost to time. The air was thick as treacle, the kind of heat that makes a sailor dream of the cool whisper of the Southern Ocean. We were adrift in a sea of sweat and stale air… until the LNP lads arrived. ⚙️ The Arrival of the Crew They came not with sails or cannons, but with ladders, drills, and a quiet confidence that spoke of many voyages through the treacherous seas of Australian wiring. Their leader, calm as a captain in a storm, surveyed the home like a navigator charting unknown waters. No puffed-up boasting, no needless chatter — just that steady, knowing nod of a man who’s seen the heart of an old house and knows how to coax new life into it. Before long, their tools were singing the sailor’s hymn of industry: the hum of the drill, the clink of copper, the occasional curse whispered like a prayer. And lo — the old walls yielded to their skill. 🌬 The Miracle of Cool Air By sundown, two gleaming split systems stood in place, shining like lighthouses of modern comfort. When they first whirred to life, I swear I could hear the ocean again — the gentle sigh of cool air filling the room, banishing the heat like a nor’easter clearing fog. Where once the air was stifling as a galley below decks, now it flowed crisp and clean, carrying the promise of gentle evenings and unbroken sleep. The missus called it “bliss.” I called it a rescue at sea. 🧭 Professionalism Fit for a Captain Every cable, every conduit, every sealed joint was done with the precision of a well-tied knot. These weren’t landlubber tradesmen — they were artisans of the current, masters of their craft. They left the house cleaner than when they came, and not a scrap out of place. Even the old timbers seemed to approve, sighing contentedly as the hum of the aircons filled the quiet. They took the time to explain the systems, their eyes alight with that rare patience you only find in men who truly love what they do. Aye, I could see it — the same pride I once saw in shipwrights carving their names into oak beams bound for the sea. 🕯 The Verdict If ever your home feels like a furnace, if your nights are long and your temper short, call upon LNP Electrical. They’ll come like a breeze from the south, steady your course, and leave you sailing smooth through the summer’s heat. So here’s to them — To the quiet professionals who conquer heat with copper and wit, To the bringers of comfort to weary souls, To LNP Electrical — the best crew this old sailor’s ever seen on dry land. Five shining stars, and a toast with rum to their fine workmanship. 🥃

Lachy and Oscar arrived at the appointed time. Very efficient and very personable guys. Did a superb job with what I would consider a difficult installation of our new split system air con. I had numerous questions which they answered patiently. We will definitely call on LNP again.

If there was a Hall of Fame for sparkies, Luke from LNP Electrical would be front and centre — flanked by his legendary sidekicks, Ollie and Charlie. Honestly, these two deserve their own Netflix series: Ollie and Charlie – The Current Affairs! Luke runs a seriously professional outfit — on time, tidy, polite, and patient enough to deal with me asking “is it on yet?” every five minutes. But the real heroes here are Ollie and Charlie. Did I mention Ollie and Charlie? Because I heard they get $10 every time someone mentions Ollie and Charlie. And frankly, Ollie and Charlie are worth every cent. So here’s to Luke, Ollie, and Charlie (and Ollie and Charlie again, just to be sure). If you need electrical work done by actual legends — not just blokes with a van and a ladder — call LNP Electrical. Ask for Ollie and Charlie by name. Twice.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
