After a number of cold winters and hot summers in Castlemaine I decided to get a split system installed in my living room, and engaged AJD Electrical to do the installation. Andrew was there within a couple of days and measured up, and recommended the best unit for the room. I was about to go into hospital for a few of days, and was delighted that Andrew organised the installation as soon as I got home, so the system was up and running almost immediately. The work was done quickly and with minimum mess and fuss, and the compliance certificate issued promptly. A follow-up visit to sort out a minor problem was easily organised a couple of days later. Andrew and Kate were both extremely friendly and easy to work with, great attention to detail, tidy and quick. The system they installed was one of the top recommendations of Choice Magazine. I would highly recommend AJD to anyone wanting a split system aircon/heater installed.

Initially I called on Andrew to deal with a leak from a split system installed by another tradesman. Andrew responded promptly, explained what was causing the leak and rectified it. I then asked his advice on split systems to deal witb heating /cooling throughout the house. Andrew was very knowledgeable and I then asked him to install further split systems, leaving him to source them. Despite some awful weather the installations went ahead as planned and for the price quoted which was quite reasonable. Andrew answered all my questions, was totally professional, cleaned up and made sure everything was working before he left. He even happily dealt with another unexpected problem while installing the split systems -repairing cords to the solar hot water chewed overnight by our puppy. Compliance certificates were emailed to me within a day of Andrew completing the installations. Andrew's first visit to our place was to install a split system air conditioner in my office. The building is made of rammed earth and I was a bit hesitant of how the installation was going to look. Andrew quickly allayed any fears and the result of his work is simply marvelous. It's so neat and seamless. He even fixed a shorting issue in the building while he was doing the installation. The cost was a pleasant surprise considering the workmanship and the effectiveness of the unit. Andrew's next visit was to move electricity for major appliances and install new light fittings for our kitchen remodeling. Again, Andrew's work is incredibly neat and he made sure everything was in accordance with specifications and that everything would fit well with positioning of the new appliances. Andrew's attention to detail, promptness, cost-effectiveness, the quality of his work and happy and friendly manner makes him very easy to highly recommend to anyone looking for an electrician in our area.
