I have used Heritage Electrical around half a dozen times across two properties in the area, to install an oven, bathroom fans, light fittings, light switches and more. Craig is down to earth, knowledgeable (explains what he is doing and why) and does neat work. I would highly recommend his services and will be back in touch when I need anything else done.

We had a bit of a situation where earthing for our pool was carelessly installed and ran through an overgrown feature garden and subsequently cut through. Craig painstakingly redid the wiring into stable conduit from the pool back behind all of the folage so it was neat, safe and less obvious right up to the filter unit. He was very obliging and came quickly as he appreciated my concerns over the pool being unearthed (which he painstakingly explained during my initial panicked phone call!).

I would like to thank Craig for his suggestions and input when I was renovating my kitchen. He is excellent, on time and reliable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a sparky. He has also helped me out with further electrical and lighting stuff. Highly recommend and tidies up after himself. Awesome.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
Does Heritage Electrical Brighton have a verified ABN?
Yes. Heritage Electrical Brighton has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
