Donna's Electrical

We have been looking at adding a battery to our solar system for quite some time now. We have a 5Kw solar system which runs most of the household and irrigation to the lawns and garden on a sunny day. With the constant increase in electrical prices, we decided to buy a battery and met with Kane from Donna’s Electrical who answered and explained all of our questions. As Kane installed our solar panels as well, he knew our setup and recommended the Enphase battery. We decided to go with the 10Kw system. We have had the battery for about 2 months now and are very pleased with the results. On a sunny day, with our current setup, I can run my irrigation (this is about a 6-7hour cycle), the household and still charge my battery to 100% by sunset. During the evenings the house runs off the battery. I have joined a wholesale supplier, which means I can monitor when rates are cheap( as low as 10c-16c per Kw. This varies from day to day). I use this opportunity to top up my battery in the early hours of the morning when rates are at its lowest, which allows me to run the house from the battery until there is enough sunlight to charge my solar panels again. Before we had the battery, our daily cost for electricity was about $8-$9. Now, it rarely goes over $2 a day. This adds up quick! And if you have more solar and battery storage, these savings will be even more. Simply put, the Enphase battery not only looks good, it is very well built and the after sales customer service is excellent from both Enphase and Donna’s Electrcal. I am very satisfied with our setup and highly recommend this product.

Not only did the install only take 2 days, the whole crew were polite and helpful, answering any questions I had during the install. Kane your estimate on what my power needs would be and providing the system size accordingly was spot on. The peace of mind I now have knowing that my backup battery will kick in at time of power outages is PRICELESS, working from home for a cloud based multinational company means I need uninterrupted power for the home office and indeed the internet, to run continually and efficiently, I now have that. I am happy for Kane to post pictures of the install at my home and would be more than happy to provide a verbal recommendation for these guys.

Absolute amazing perfect and friendly service...Caught out with an issue with my caravan's exterior socket, stuck and facing a 3hr drive to get a replacement they came to the rescue and were all simply brilliant.....
