We arrived at Oasis Tourist Park in Coober Pedy last Thursday around 7pm expecting to stay one night. Hooked up our caravan and headed off Friday morning to continue our journey north to Darwin. We didn’t even get out of town when we noticed the Malfunction Indicator Light was on. Went to Bulls Garage for help. They called Neel from Bhans to assist. His scanner detected a fault with the EGR Valve in our BT50. The part was ordered from Adelaide on Friday arrived overnight on the Greyhound Bus. Fitted on Saturday - back on the road yesterday. Stayed at Wintersun Caravan Park in Alice Springs last night. Our car is running 💯 better than it was. Neel’s service is 10/10, a friendly and professional team at an affordable price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honest Mechanics in Coober Pedy – BHANS MOTORS I had ongoing issues with my Nissan Navara D40 and initially took the vehicle to Patrick at Bridgestone in Coober Pedy. After checking the vehicle, he told me the injectors needed replacing and quoted me more than $5,000 for the repair. Something didn’t feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion from BHANS MOTORS. The team at BHANS Motors carefully diagnosed the vehicle and discovered that the injectors were not the problem at all. The actual issue was related to the DPF system. Initially they attempted to clean & regenerate the existing DPF, which cost $900, but unfortunately the regeneration did not resolve the issue. After confirming the problem, they replaced the DPF for $1,280 and labour was $660. Even after the initial attempt to regenerate the old DPF, the total cost was still far less than what the other mechanic quoted for unnecessary injector replacement. Tried to rip me off What impressed me most was their honesty and accurate diagnosis. Instead of replacing expensive parts that weren’t faulty, they focused on finding the real issue and fixing it properly. I highly recommend BHANS MOTORS in Coober Pedy if you want honest advice, correct diagnostics, and fair pricing. They saved me thousands of dollars and got my Navara back on the road

Absolutely fastest and best mechanic service in Coober Pedy! We brought our car to a different mechanic fist and he said it is gonna take 4 days to fix it. After those 4 days they haven't even touched the car. We brought it unfixed to Bhans in hope of a faster fix. We had 3 issues with out car: window stuck at the bottom, front tire wobbles and a broken hydrologic for the clutch. After just 4h we recieved a call, that our car is all done and every issue is fixed! The price was reasonable as well. The other mechanic tried to keep one car part and not hand it out to delay the repair of our car. Bahns went beyond his duties as a mechanic and even helped us claim the part we were entitled to from the other mechanic. If you have problems with your car, Bhans is the your best contact in Coober Pedy!😁

Magic hands, and maybe he doesn't know about it. I went there because the horn on my '76 LandCruiser hadn't worked for a while. Since we were in Coober Pedy for a few days, we decided to try Bhan's mechanic because of the good reviews. I went there and made an appointment for that same afternoon. He knew exactly what he was looking for, disassembled the steering wheel, and discovered that the wiring in the steering wheel was wrong because the previous owner of the car had installed a 200 series steering wheel with cruise control and remote control for the radio. Everything worked perfectly except for the horn. He suggested I bring the car in the next day and leave it there, and he would order the correct part for the steering wheel to get it working again. I told him I'd come back for that, BUT on the way back to the caravan park, I tried the horn just for fun, and suddenly it worked again! I think disassembling and reassembling the steering wheel was enough to get it working again. Maybe a loose cable or just magic hands. Thanks anyway!

Excellent service. I rolled into Cooper Pedy having lost my Anderson plug and brake controller on the rough track, bro was able to come out to the caravan park that night to assess, and fixed it the next morning. He did an amazing job with a great deal of attention to detail and with far greater care than most of the auto electricians I've dealt with.

I am only giving Bhans motors 5 stars because I can't rate them higher, after becoming stranded in Coober Pedy with serious car issues that would've ruined the rest of our road trip, the top blokes at Bhans Motors got my vehicle in on the same day, they were able to identify and solve the problem in a timely matter. Dealing with them was incredibly easy and their customer service goes above and beyond.
