The Nergy team installed a new Sigenergy 32kwh battery system at our home. They integrated the existing solar panels into the system, and added another 6 panels for a full home backup system. They did an excellent job despite the challenges of rerouting the original dc cables. As a licenced sparky myself, I consider Nergy's expertise, work quality and efficiency to be as good as it gets. Well done guys - highly recommended.

Trent was on time, competitively priced and really knew his stuff. Had some down lights and 2 ceiling fans installed and am thrilled with the result. Have already recommended to friends!

Darius and Trent attended our Centre to complete a couple of electrical jobs this week. I highly recommend them if seeking electrical work to be done. Darius and Trent arrived at the time arranged, were very friendly and professional. They were great at communicating what was required. They also completed the jobs in a timely manner and ensured they left the area clean and tidy.

Would rate 6 stars if I could. Trent was an absolute professional and went above and beyond to ensure everything in our newly renovated home was up to (his extremely high) standard. There was no such thing as a dumb question and he took time and care in everything he touched in our home. Very well priced and would most definitely hire again for all electrical work we need.

Frequently asked questions

How much do electricians typically charge?
Costs vary depending on the job type, how much fault-finding is needed, and whether switchboard or circuit work is involved. Electricians typically charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, and after-hours attendance usually attracts higher rates. Check the live pricing on this page to compare local quotes.
Do electricians charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are usually charged separately to labour and materials to cover travel and the initial assessment. Some providers may also have a minimum charge for small jobs, so it's worth confirming any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do electricians need a licence in Australia?
Yes — electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW licensing is through NSW Fair Trading. Electricians should display a valid state electrical licence number on quotes and advertising and will usually issue a Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion of work.
Does Nergy Electrical have a verified ABN?
Yes. Nergy Electrical has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
