Absolutely fabulous experience dealing with Maritz Electrical. Super fast response and communication and professionalism is excellent. I had my old solar panels and switchboard updated . I was so happy with Jan Maritz work ethic I also had an air conditioner and smoke alarms installed. Jan sourced all components and work completed in a very short turnaround at very competitive prices. I did some basic research and got 3 quotes and Maritz Electrical was unbeatable.

I engaged Maritz Electrical to install a solar system at my new home after a number of recommendations from friends and family. Jan (the owner of Maritz Electrical) visited my property for an initial inspection of my roof and completed a couple of measurements, after which he recommended an optimal panel layout through the seasons using a sun tracking app and considering any obstacles/trees potentially blocking the sun in the coming years. Jan then presented me with a number of options on the sizing of the system but was adamant in using quality components for the system to stay efficient for the maximum amount of time. We were able to select an installation date that suited us both, which luckily wasn't too far after I gave the 'go ahead' as Jan is quite busy. The installation process went very smoothly and Jan and his apprentice were very professional. Helping me pick the best location for the inverter and warning me when I would loose power for a couple of minutes. Their work is very neat and tidy, perfectionist to a degree. You wouldn't know I had a solar system installed if I didn't tell you as you can't see it from the street or my back yard (this would probably depend on the orientation of your house). Jan then also told me exactly what the next steps would be after he notified the supplier for my area, and how to turn the inverter on once the smart meter was installed and received the ok from my power company. I would rate Maritz Electrical five stars for the service provided and will be engage them again if I needed any other electrical work done.

Jan and his team recently completed my Solar installation and switchboard upgrade. I cannot recommend them highly enough for their professional, efficient and courteous approach to the job. Now after all has been completed Jan still checks on the efficiency of my Solar system to make sure their output is as expected , great after sales follow up.
