5 years ago, we purchased our farm which was on generator power. We asked Terry and the ACDC Team to help us with solar/battery. We could not have picked a better provider. Right from day one Terry, Aaron and the team were responsive, helpful and flexible to make things work for us. What I really appreciated about the initial set up was Terry's honesty in what we needed - and did not - we had other quotes who tried to oversell us - Terry customized things perfectly. Since then, we have had him back to power sheds, aircon, other requirements and the very very rare troubleshooting. ACDC Energy had provided incredible help and support to us over the years - we have purchased three separate Solar and battery set ups from them in the last decade or so, and they have gone above and beyond to ensure that we have had all the help and support we need in managing our systems. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I am more than happy to recommend them to everyone. The level of support from the team for their customers is truly second to none. Whilst planning the systems we wanted to purchase, I was impressed by how the team worked to ensure we got the best possible set up for our needs - rather than trying to sell us something more expensive that would have been less suitable. Paul and Terry have always been very quick to respond to any queries we had, and to work with us to fix problems that occurred from storm and severe weather events. The quality of the work that Aaron and his team do on installs and upgrades is fantastic - they are fast and efficient workers, and always do a tidy and clean job. When presented with unusual requests, they are always happy to work with clients to ensure that they get the system and set up that they want, rather than just sticking to a standard cookie-cutter set up, which has meant we have been able to customise our current setup to work perfectly for our family.

We had an exiting 6.6kw solar system installed 7/8 years ago. We wanted an additional 10kw solar plus around 20kw of battery, and we wanted a local company who could provide backup in the event of any problems. I subscribed to a Solar quotes site and contacted 2 local suppliers. One of the local companies was AC/DC energy who I had spoken to at Farmfest a few years earlier and whose trucks and workers I had seen at my neighbours place. (My neighbour highly recommended them). From the Solar quotes site we got a number of companies pushing cheap prices with claims of local bases when in fact they were from Brisbane/sydney/Gold Coast. Yes they were the cheapest. No, I would not use that site again. Ac/dc energy were not the cheapest or the dearest of the three quotes we received. Ac/dc were the only supplier who had us check our overnight usage to make sure we were getting the right battery size. Their workmanship is of the highest quality, by their own employees, not subcontractors working for pennies and cutting corners. Components used are high quality and they sorted issues with my existing switchboard in a legal/economical manner. We dealt with Terry and I had a number of meetings with him to fine tune the proposal. Terry went thru all of the Ergon tariffs and explained why home batteries would be important. We have solar hot water so our cost benefit was not as great as a household where water heating consumed a high proportion of our power, but we had a bore to water our gardens and lawns which does consume a lot of power in summer. Terry’s knowledge of solar/battery is the best of any solar company I have ever spoken to. Our system is working well, we have changed our power usage on our bore so that it is using excess solar power, and instead of a monthly $90 bill we are now $73 in credit after 3 months. Our system is expandable and will allow to charge electric vehicles if and when the need arises. Highly recommended. Peter and Anna Becker.

I have, over time had 4 installations carried out by Terry and his team. On at least 3 occasions Terry has given me quote but added that right now the installation does not make economic sense. His team are very professional, courteous and above all honest. There is never loud music, and the work is always neat with a thorough tidy up. On arrival they introduce themselves and explain what the job entails including interruptions and timelines. If you want an honest job done with the best trained team, on time, every time, then call Terry.

One of the biggest pluses for me was the communication; Terry is always contactable and ready to help, which gives you real peace of mind, even on weekends or after hours.
