Ultra Power Electrical

The work carried out was good, however, I was charged double the initial quote without first being told of the price increase. I originally sent pictures of the sub board and a clear description of work required which was to upgrade the three phase power point to a 5 pin 32A. Was quoted $420 and agreed to it. The electrician came to site to do the work and then said the main power switch might need to be changed and I advised I was quoted $420 by his team and asked not to do other work without first discussing. I had gone out and came back to find the main power switch was changed and then the 10A RCD for the lights that was working prior to works being done, was broken and that had to be changed. At no point was this discussed or price confirmed. At the end of the job the electrician added another $400. Had I known this extra charge I would have used someone else who visited the site and quoted $550-600 for the same work. I reached out to George from UPE to discuss this unfair extra charge without any sort of discussion first and there was no response. EDIT 10/10/2022: After subsequent discussion and negotiations UPE agreed to partial refund of the full amount of what I paid on the day but has voided all warranty on the work carried out. I have changed star rating from 3 to 4. Please make sure in the future you inform your clients prior to works carried out of costs and have their agreement so that there is no issues like this.

I was extremely pleased with the installation of downlights, oyster lights and my switchboard being upgraded. The electricians were very professional and made sure I knew how everything worked and gave me a number of suggestions while also providing an upfront quote and costs associated with my upcoming renovation. My house was left spotless, neat and very tidy after the initial visit and rough in, and I am pleased to say that it has remained as tidy as it was beforehand after installation. I am pleased to recommend Ultra Power Electrical to family, friends and anyone needing a local electrician.

I am very pleased with the work Ultra Power Electrical did with restoring electricity in my house. I had no electricity for a day and was hesitant to call at first but the electrician who responded explained everything properly and made sure that I understood what was going on. When he arrived he did an excellent job fixing the electricity box and even installed an extra switch with no extra cost! He also provided advice and steps for me to act if a circuit trip was to occur in the future. Highly reccommend and was quick to respond to the situation too. Couldn't have asked for a better electrician to help solve this issue.

The customer service were very responsive and clearly laid out what the process was. Their was no issues with the job and after the electrician finished with his work he cleaned up everything which is a HUGE PLUS!!!!. I highly recommend Ultra power electrical if your trying to get a quick and efficient service. :)
