We wanted to replace traditional lightings with 60 down lights and a few pendant lights for the lower level of our two-storey house. We got about 5 quotes but decided to go with Power Source Electrical Services. Not only did Dennis come in at a reasonable price point, he was very clear & detailed in explaining what is involved with such a big job which gave us the assurance that other people didn't. Throughout the 5-day to finish our job, Dennis was always punctual & respectful of our property, leaving the place clean at the end of each day. He was patient & accommodating with added scope & upfront with cost so no surprises. We were so happy with his top-notch precision, workmanship & old-fashion consultative customer service that we got him back to do our outdoor lightings too. Dennis came to give a quote an our after initial enquiry, and a completed comprehensive quote was emailed 2 hours later. He commenced work promptly several days later, being conscientious of people working in the building and working around them. He cleaned up very well. The existing lighting in the new house we purchased was totally outdated. We called Dennis who recommended to install some LED down lights in the main rooms and additional lighting in the bedrooms plus smoke alarms. Dennis also conducted a safety check and recommended that we upgrade the switchboard and replace the old safety switches. Dennis was polite friendly and professional from the start and understood our needs to work within our budget. We had an older house and wanted the lights upgraded to LED's and smoke detectors installed. It appeared that a handyman had somehow wired in fans and the whole wiring system was a mess. Dennis sorted out the problems, there were many, but he tidied up all the wiring and made everything work. He also fitted a new switchboard in the Electrical meter box and fitted a new earth. The pricing he gave us was very reasonable and we were more than happy with the outcome. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge in all the work he did, I would recommend him to anyone wanting electrical work done.

A tradie who turns up on time and cleans up after himself - 10 stars out of 5! Seriously though, Dennis was professional but personable at the same time. After being advised by Ausgrid that new mains needed to be replaced at my elderly parents house after the power outage in the evening, I had to act quickly to get this sorted quickly. I called a couple of companies who provided quotes with no assurances or time frame. I then called Dennis who immediately provided a competitive quote and specific time frame with works to be carried out. Throughout the process he replaced consumers mains to the switchboard and installed new main earth wiring system, while also checking all circuits and labelling them accordingly. He also explained further issues that may arise in the future due to the deterioration of the switchboard.
