Scott was fantastic from start to finish. He connected our new continuous flow hot water system, and the whole experience was easy and stress-free. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and very respectful in our home, and he took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood how the new system works. The work was excellent and the installation was neat and tidy. Scott also cleaned up properly afterwards, which I really appreciated. Bonus points: he arrived with his beautiful, well-behaved dog, which absolutely made my day. If you’re looking for a trade expert to install or replace a hot water system, I highly recommend Scott. Scott is very nice, easy to talk to, smart and he has keen eyes for detail. We talked over the phone for about half an hour before he gave the quote. Just from looking at the photo I uploaded, he could ask and analyse many details, a good proof of both his electrician and carpentry knowledge. His quote was reasonable good. It would be better than someone gave a cheap quote but increased the price later. I was happy to accept it after knowing my job would be more complicated than I had expected. Best of all, he could come over in a couple of hours later. He got many powerful tools to complete his excellent work. I greatly appreciate that he made my dream come true after my struggle for weeks to get the work done. Highly recommended!

Scott did an amazing job for us. Helped us install oven, gas stove stop and range hood. I had one tradesman who could navigate the electrical, gas and carpentry aspects seamlessly, which is so rare. Saved me serious $$ rather than getting different tradies to do individual bits. Would absolutely recommend him for any services offered by Hope Services.

Scott recently updated my power board. He did an outstanding job - invested time to research to ensure he had the best solution, took additional time to ensure it was done right and promptly completed the certification. Scott is quite passionate and friendly. I hired him to install a power point to my study room. I got 4 quotes from different electricians and decided to pick Scott as his quote of $300 is the lowest. It seems the job is a little bit tricky due to the elevated floor level of the study room. I am not an expert, so I requested it would be great to avoid patching the wall. Because once we open the wall, we have to do plastering, priming and painting, which will cost both him and me lots of time. Also another electrician physically examined the study room and believed it is not needed to patch the wall. Scott decided to give it a try by drilling multiple holes. We spent time connecting the drilled holes, but with no luck. Finally, Scott opened a small hole on the wall to connect the drilled holes, so the cables can come through. I am a bit shocked that the final price is $500 when the quote was $300. The price ends up higher than all 3 other quotes I got from different electricians. I thought it is a small job and picked the cheapest, but it ended up the highest cost. I know we discussed different options of installing the power point with Scott, including my request of try not patch the wall, but I think I should be informed the bill consequence of each option. And I am not an expert, if my request won't work, as an expert, he should educate me on the correct solution. In the end, it took Scott 5 hours to get the job done, which is much much longer than I expected. I planned a few things in the afternoon, but I had to spend lots of time on the job helping Scott diagnosing the issue. Because of this, my whole afternoon got occupied. On a side note, I do appreciate Scott quickly fixed my rangehood pipe. I am willing to pay this work. Finally, I would have to point it out that we didn't prepare to do childcare work for Scott's daughter. Don't get me wrong, she is gorgeous and amazing. But, my family didn't expect a little girl staying with us for 5 hours. We had to get her entertained during the time, which is a lot of work. I understand every family has different situations and it is great to see Scott is a family man and a great father, but professionally, I don't expect a tradie brings a 4 years old on the job.

Scott did stellar job which was really complex to execute, very bespoke and I think he could only be the one to pull something like this. It needed electric work, cabinetry , roof plumbing and handyman skills to complete the whole project. He did that in absolute perfection. If you need to get a bespoke work done without burning your wallet, he is the guy to call. He is an also very nice to deal with, absolute professional in terms of executing the work. If I have any future projects, he will be the man I would dial first.
