We were in strife this morning when our roller door packed it in. We called Leigh and he was round within the hour, found the issue in 5min & gave us a temp fix to get our door working so we can get on with life. He ordered the part on the spot and arranged to come back one evening this week to sort the permanent fix. If you’re in strife, get Leigh on the phone and he will get you right out of trouble. Great man who knows his stuff. 5 Stars for Leigh and Peak Roller Doors.

Peek Roller Doors have been amazing to deal with!! My garage build was a drawn out process but Leigh was more than happy help out and always contactable by phone or email. When it came to installing, he was super prompt and got the job done and it looks awesome! I really encourage anyone looking for a great job on a garage door to use Peek Roller Doors. You'll also be supporting a local, small business.

Leigh was really helpful when looking at our old roller doors and providing advice on whether to update the motors or both motors and doors etc. We decided to update both and got a quote. Leigh was really well priced and did a fantastic job for the install. Communication during the ordering and booking in a date to install was super easy and it was great to get the updates / progress. Thanks for the fantastic job Leigh 👍🏼😊

Frequently asked questions

How much do door installers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on whether the job is a simple adjustment, a standard internal or external door install, or work involving custom doors or frame modifications. Quotes commonly combine a call-out fee, hourly labour and materials, with after-hours or emergency work usually attracting higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current regional rates and the typical job bands for each type of work.
Do door installers charge call-out fees?
Many door installers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Call-out fees are common in the rate card, though they may sometimes be waived if substantial work proceeds; it’s worth confirming this when requesting a quote. After-hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates.
Do door installers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Door installers generally need a contractor licence or registration in every Australian state and territory; in NSW the relevant authority is the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). Look for a valid state contractor licence or registration displayed on quotes and advertising, an ABN with active registration and appropriate public liability insurance.
How do I get a quote from Peak Roller Doors?
Peak Roller Doors lists phone or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
